A big tip for CILIP Chartership Candidates

I've put all my stuff on slideshare.net (private not public) If you're quite a visual person it's fantastic. It mean's where ever you are (with an internet connection) you can download it -tinker - and then re upload it. Perfect. The thumbnails of your docs is great as you can see at a glance all the different bits coming together! Brilliant. One word of warning - remember to keep it private when you upload otherwise anyone has access to your CV and SWOT analysis' of your organisation...could prove interesting!!

Chartership thoughts

Lot's of people wax lyrical about the benefits of blogging during chartership. I thought I'd give it a go. My monthly chartership meeting is tomorrow and still have lots of work to do. My tasks were to finish my PDPRPDDPP (or whatever) and annotate my CV. The latter is particularly difficult due to having 2 part time professional librarian jobs. ARGH Everyone in the know does the whole "That'll make for great reading - the contrast and compare is so unusual" Yeah ok - maybe. In theory but heck, difficult to write tho!

Anyway inspite of tomorrow's deadline instead I've been focusing on the important things in life - home decoration and reading. I made a super purchase of 80 wooden coathangers for only £40 on ebay today. No more upset about where my clothes should be (anywhere other than the floor would be good) I'm thinking about painting them all. I'll let you know how that goes.
